William F. McCartney

William F. McCartney, the son of James McCartney and Catherine Mooney, was born on October 23, 1885 in Orange, New Jersey and died on November 24, 1937 in Midvale, New Jersey.

The exact date and location of their marriage is unknown, but William married his sister-in-law Hattie Pellington in about 1905. Hattie's brother Silas was married to Susan McCartney, William's sister. Hattie, the daughter of John Pellington and Mary Van Orden, was born about 1887. She was only 17 years old when she married William. After their marriage, William and Hattie lived near Silas and Susan McCartney Pellington in Passaic County, New Jersey.
